Wafer costs are the product of many different factors, for accurate costs we recommend our cost model.
300mm wafer costs assume a 30,000 wafer per month Fab running at 90% of capacity.
0.25µm Fabs in North America are still carrying depreciation costs and Taiwan Fabs are not, so Taiwan Fab costs for 0.25µm are much lower.
0.35µm costs are similar to 0.50µm cost because of process simplification from shallow trench isolation.
