Approximate cost per wafer for unprobed CMOS logic wafers (rounded values) produced in North America (note these are manufacturing costs, not selling prices). Calculated using the 2005 IC Cost Model.

Wafer costs are the product of many different factors, for accurate costs we recommend our cost model.

300mm wafer costs assume a 30,000 wafer per month Fab running at 90% of capacity.

0.35µm costs are similar to 0.50µm cost because of process simplification from shallow trench isolation.
