Table notes:: Wafer costs are the product of many different factors, for accurate costs we recommend our cost model.; 300mm wafer costs assume a 30,000 wafer per month Fab running at 90% of capacity.; 0.25µm Fabs in North America are still carrying depreciation costs and Taiwan Fabs are not, so Taiwan Fab costs for 0.25µm are much lower.; 0.35µm costs are similar to 0.50µm cost because of process simplification from shallow trench isolation.
